Dish Network Story

Satellite televisions is taking over the home entertainment service market. In the last ten years, the progression has been steady. However, in the last 4 years the satellite market has exploded, while cable companies continue to go bankrupt, particularly in hard times. Dish Network is among the creme de la creme of Satellite Service Companies.

Over 85% of all former cable subscribers have a horror story of how they were mis-treated by their local cable company before switching to Satellite TV. Increased competition from Satellite TV Providers is bad news for the cable companies who have had poor customer service for year. Now companies like Dish Network are coming along, and treating customers with dignity; answering calls, and questions with vigor, all night and day. I am one such customer, who was treated like trash, after 10 years of faithful service: I had never missed a single payment, and one day after my neighbor had moved...my cable was suddenly cut off.

Mistakes do happen and I'm an understanding person. I called the company, told them what happened and the coincidence of my neighbor having just moved. They promptly set up an appointment for 5 days later. Boy oh boy five days! I was over-joyed! (kidding). When the big day arrived they didn't show up. When I called they told me a technician had already shown up, but nobody came to the door. We have two dogs who hadn't stirred all morning. Guess what? We got the pleasure of a second appointment, 14 days from that date. Perfect! Plenty of time to say buzz off cable, and head to Dish Network. Its laughable, we had Satellite TV in less than two days. The technician showed up with a smile and showed us how to use everything. Bye, bye cable.

America’s Everything Pak: $84.99 a month. This package features over 295 channels, including 31 showtime movie channels. This package has everything you want to watch.

Dish Network has comparable services to its competitors. Remote DVR programming, 24/7 customer service, and on-demand programming are all included. Like I mentioned earlier; they happily took me on as a customer...and actually set a new service up, installed it, instructed me how to use it, and had me watching TV two days after my cable company refused to fix their blunder. My cable company called two weeks after I canceled and tried to get my business back. Too little too late cable man...I have Dish Network, and I'm not going back!
