Netlfix Review

Movies have always been my downtime favorite and to feed my obsession I have Dish Network along with every movie channel they offer. However, I do pay much more than my budget can safely handle every month. My family and I do decent financially, but our budget does get tight at times. In the last couple of months a few of my friends signed up at Netflix...so far they have been telling me it's perfect.

I finally decided to break down and sign up at the Netflix.com site. For the next two weeks you can sign up for a two week trial, so I have nothing to lose if I don't agree with my friends, that the service is perfect. I figure if the service is as good as people tell me it is, I could get rid of a lot of the pricey Directv movie channels I have, and end up pulling my wallet out less each month.

Sign Up For Netflix

Signing up is as simple as going to the website, creating a list of movies you want, then waiting til' the first couple arrive the next day. There is no worry about watching them right away, if your night gets interrupted...you keep them as long as you like! When your done with them you just put them back in the prepaid envelope and mail them back to Netflix. Once Netflix gets the first movies back, they send you a couple more. They have put the hurt on Blockbuster, and other video stores who murder you with late fees and such.

Receiving Your Movies

I know this is going to sound pitiful, but I hate having to leave the house when I get home from work. The absolute only time I ever have to go to Blockbuster, is during rush hour traffic, and after getting the kids home I'm ready to kick back. I was impressed with Netflix's ability to get the darned movies to me so fast...and cheaper than Blockbuster! How in the heck do they do that? I won't even mention cable or satellite PPV, as they really sink their teeth into your money, with "ordering fees". The movies seems reasonable, until you get the bill and see all the charges tucked in with each PPV.

As I mentioned above: You only have to wait a day, I believe they must be so busy and successful that they get some sort of amazing deal on shipping. The website has an intuitive virtual mind reader - that remembers what you like and finds movies that might suit your future viewing pleasure. Aside from that it is very user-friendly. All you can imagine for your entertainment needs. You might be surprised to find that movies you never knew existed, will quickly become your favorites.

Conclusion

I never thought that using the internet, to order movies could be easier than watching my TV. Honestly, for me, I love ordering a couple of movies one night, and having them waiting in my mailbox the next day after work. There is just no way anyone can compete with their prices. That said, no other company can come close to their selection! They must have a warehouse to store all of those movies. I just had my expensive Directv movie channels shut down for next month. I don't need them anymore, Netflix is my new movie provider.
